To invoke the program, type ``stimulate'' at the prompt. Note that it is important to make sure to use a shelltool and not a commandtool. The latter tends to crash when its text buffer overflows. An icon will appear on the desktop as shown in Figure 2. Double click on the Icon to expand it to the Main Window (Figure 3). Stimulate prints out status messages during various processing stages in the shelltool from which it was launched. Thus it is desirable to arrange this shelltool such that at least the bottom portion is not obscured by Stimulate's main window.
